Bulldogs take revenge on Sharks
When the playoff brackets were announced and the Marlboro County High basketball players saw that they would be facing St. James in the first round, many saw an opportunity for a little bit of old-fashioned revenge.
Back in November, the Sharks took advantage of a muddy, slick field to push around the quicker, but smaller Bulldogs in the football playoffs.  St. James ended the Marlboro County season with a 27-18 upset.

Bulldogs to host St. James in playoffs

Marlboro County High's boys' basketball team will host St. James High School in the first round of South Carolina Class AAA playoffs Tuesday.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.  If the Bulldogs are successful against the Sharks, they will host the winner of the Airport  - Orangeburg - Wilkerson game on Friday night.

Bulldogs thrash Lakewood, claim region title
It has been a decade since the Marlboro County High basketball team could make the claim of being region champions.  However, after thrashing Lakewood Tuesday night, the team learned that Crestwood had defeated Darlington, sealing the title for the Bulldogs.
