Tabernacle Experience to come to Wallace

WALLACE — Visitors will have a chance to travel back in time while visiting the Tabernacle Experience on April 6-15 at Wallace Baptist Church.
The Tabernacle Experience is a replica of the tent, which housed the Ark of the Covenant more than 3,000 years ago.
According to Sharron Melton, who is coordinating the event, the exhibit has 10 different stations and takes about an hour to complete. It is a self-guided narrated tour on mp3.
At the Tabernacle Experience website, Moses was instructed by God to build the Tabernacle as a place of worship and sacrifice after leading  people out of Israel. They carried the Ark of the Covenant, housed in the tabernacle, as they wandered 40 years in the desert.
