Five Bulldogs sign scholarships

Five Marlboro County High seniors signed college football scholarship offers Wednesday at the school’s Munnerlyn Field House.  Head football coach and athletic director Dean Boyd said that he expects as many as five more seniors will have the opportunity to sign in the next few weeks.  He said that 135 Bulldogs have signed with colleges since he arrived in 1997.  Signing with Limestone College in Gaffney were offensive linemen Eric Blair and Nick Broddy, quarterback Jacob Evers and linebacker Chad Quick.  Wide receiver / linebacker Decosta Ford signed with Newberry College.
